One of the offset dollar store crafts I ever made was a simple painted glass. I recall shopping with my Granny when I was 10-11 years sometime and ownership a box of simple spectacles and craft paint to make something different.

Flowers, bees, vines, and a few birds ended up existence painted on those glasses and displayed on her curtain until she passed away.

Now, I love using wine glasses in crafting because they are both inexpensive and versatile. For this arts and crafts, a bit of pigment turns these into a super beautiful Easter chicken that works great to agree your favorite candle.

You can utilise these to create a centerpiece on your table, or simply line them up on your mantle every bit Easter decor.

What Pigment Works All-time on Glass?

My favorite paint is simple acrylic craft paint. These are not designed to be used for eating or drinking, then yous don't have to worry most toxicity. Instead, focus on something that volition give you lot full coverage and offer the bright color you want.

Apple tree Barrel craft paint is my favorite brand for coverage and affordability. Another popular option I enjoy using is DecoArt. Their paints requite amend coverage than others, and again, they are affordable and like shooting fish in a barrel to detect.

I wouldn't recommend using spray paint on this project every bit information technology would just be a chip overkill for such a elementary and rustic styled arts and crafts for kids. Spray paint is better used for things this beautiful gold painted macaroni art picture frame.

What Size Candles Will This Hold?

Since you lot are turning this vino glass upside down to create the chicken wait, you volition exist using what is normally the base of the drinking glass as the holder. My go-to candle for this kind of arts and crafts is the battery LED tealight.

This is safer than other candles, cheap, and information technology works wonderfully to offer soft low-cal.

You could, still, use any tealight or votive candle with this easily. You just want to brand sure that any candle you add to your wine glass is flat on the bottom and sturdy to stand on its own. Manifestly a taper candle is not going to be a good choice for this raft.
